Memorial Day....That is Today!

So todays Memorial Day, and well, aside from it being a holiday for the military folks and they have this long weekend to relax, its also a day to remember those that have served and died for our country, present and past. Today is one of those days that u have to be grateful and honored to be free in America, cuz of those that died for this country. So for that i honor those that died serving or is serving at the moment.

My husband is part of those that are serving, and im so sad that hes not here today. But its ok, he'll be here in a week. Im sooo excited, i know its only been a month, and that worried me alot, cuz i wont see him for almost 8 months, and im just a wreck without him for a month, how am i gonna be without him AGAIN for 8 months!!!! I dont want him gone, i get too scared for him and worried that somethings going to happen over there, but i know i shouldnt think that far, but its so hard not too. But anyway, today is gonna be soo boring for me, i dont have nothing to do, and well, the day is gonna go by soooooo slow. but im gonna go do my two miles cuz i wanna get my 10,000 on already, so why not start today while there is no one on base really trying to go walking. lol. but thats it i guess. hopefully the rest of the week goes by pretty quick. So i still need to get some house cleaning and organizing so i can start to move some things into the storage, but im soo scared to go driving and see the gas prices!!!!!!! i just dont want to see myself paying $4 a GALLON!!!!! thats just the worse!! but oh well i still need to get my apartment packed up gas or no gas. Well thats all i have to say for right now, hopefully i can get some scrapping in today.....HOPEFULLY!!! well, ta-ta!!

Hi Lorena!

Thanx for commenting on my blog. Your family and your hubby are so very appreciated! I think Memorial Day should be everyday!! Some people don't realize what our troops go through so we can have freedom.

My fiance was a Marine (or as he say, once a Marine always a Marine) for 12 years and served in the Golf war..so I know/have a very good idea what our troops are going through now.

I went through your blog and love your layouts! I really love the dark edges you put on your pics...so cute!
